Tulsy vs Oura: what’s the difference for women?

Oura is a smart ring for sleep, activity and recovery. Tulsy is a precision health intelligence app built for female biology, bringing your daily logs, hormonal context and blood work into one view.

They serve different purposes. You can use both separately, but Tulsy does not currently import Oura data.

    Where Oura is strongest

Oura is a strong option for people who want passive sleep, activity and recovery tracking in a discreet ring. Its measurements and scores help you review patterns without logging every signal by hand.

Oura also offers dedicated women’s health features, including cycle, pregnancy and menopause insights. Availability, eligibility and subscription requirements vary, so check the official support pages before buying.

    Where Tulsy is different

Female biology is the starting point. Tulsy uses your cycle phase or hormonal track alongside daily logs to put energy, training, nutrition and recovery guidance in context. Its dedicated surgical menopause track accounts for HRT status; this is not the same as a dedicated natural perimenopause or contraception experience.

It looks forward. The Energy Forecast and Tomorrow Preview are designed to help you plan, rather than only review yesterday. These are wellness estimates, not validated tests of cognitive capacity or guarantees of performance.

Your blood work adds context. Upload a lab report PDF or photo and review each extracted value before saving. Premium brings together biomarker observations, a blood-based PhenoAge estimate and reminders about blood panels. Biological age is a model-based estimate, not a diagnosis or a prediction of lifespan.

Goals turn patterns into a direction. Tulsy offers measurable goals across 12 pillars and 3, 6 and 12-month trajectories. Those trajectories are estimates, not promises of an outcome. Meal-photo estimates also need your judgement and correction.

No hardware purchase is required. You can use Tulsy through manual logging. This comparison does not claim that Tulsy currently imports sleep, HRV, resting heart rate or other measurements from Oura.

Smart jewellery, designed as jewellery first

House of Tulsy is a planned line of designer smart jewellery beyond the ring, made with everyday wear and different occasions in mind. It is coming soon, not available today.

You do not need House of Tulsy jewellery to use the app. Specific designs, captured signals, pricing and launch dates are not confirmed on this page.

Using Tulsy with your Oura Ring

You can use both apps separately: keep Oura for your ring’s measurements, and manually log how you feel in Tulsy alongside cycle details and optional blood results.

Oura data import into Tulsy is not currently available. Connecting Oura to Apple Health or Health Connect does not establish that Tulsy can read those measurements. There are no Oura connection instructions here because that connection has not been confirmed.

    Which should you choose?

Choose Oura if your priority is passive sleep, activity and recovery tracking and you are happy wearing a ring and paying for hardware and membership.

Choose Tulsy if you want your cycle, blood work and daily logs brought into one view, with energy guidance and no new hardware required.

Choose both if you want the different perspectives and are comfortable using the apps separately. Today, do not expect an automatic Oura-to-Tulsy data flow.
